What GRID is
GRID is a motorsport calendar from gridwatch.racing. It shows upcoming sessions for Formula 1, MotoGP, IndyCar, NASCAR Cup, IMSA, and WEC, converted to your timezone, with region-aware watch links. The website and the GRID Android app are the same product. There are no accounts.
Your data / Deletion
For the GRID Android app and gridwatch.racing (developer: GRID). GRID does not keep users. There is no account, no IP table we maintain, and nothing personal in our database to delete.
Where data lives
- Our database: one shared schedule snapshot (race titles, venues, session times) — not tied to a person. Nothing personal here for us to delete for you.
- Your phone or browser: preferences and any cached schedule (localStorage / app storage). Clear them yourself by uninstalling the GRID Android app or clearing app storage; on the web, clear site data. We cannot reach your device.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics (production website only): aggregate page views — no personal profile, so no per-user delete.
- Vercel CDN / function logs (Grok Publish hosting): the host may log IP, path, and time. We cannot delete those. That Vercel project is Grok’s deploy from Grok Publish — not a dashboard or wipe-IP API on the developer’s own account.
What this means
This page explains the facts; it is not a promise that we can erase host CDN or function logs. Questions: contact@gridwatch.racing.
Hosting and logs
Production gridwatch.racing is published with Grok Build/Publish and runs on Vercel (static HTML/JS/CSS and assetlinks on Vercel’s CDN; /api/schedule and /api/sync as Vercel serverless via Nitro — not a long-lived Node server we operate). That Vercel project is part of the Grok Publish pipeline, not a project on the developer’s own Vercel dashboard, so we cannot log in there to browse or purge CDN/function logs. Ordinary request logs may be retained by that host for operations and security; retention follows the host’s practice. Those logs are not a personal profile we browse. The GRID Android app loads schedule data over HTTPS from gridwatch.racing, so the same host request logs can apply to those calls. Domain registration for gridwatch.racing is with GoDaddy. We do not operate a separate Cloudflare DNS/CDN account for this domain.
What stays on your device
Series filters, 12/24-hour preference, and broadcast region are stored on your device (browser localStorage on the site; app storage in the Android app). Timezone comes from your device. GRID does not ask you to create a login and does not store a name, email, or profile on our servers.
What the server holds
One shared calendar snapshot (race titles, venues, session times, public calendar status). That row is not tied to you. Session times are copied from public calendar files (ICS). Watch links are editorial, not personal recommendations.
Analytics and logs
Separately from hosting: the production website (gridwatch.racing) loads Cloudflare Web Analytics — a small, cookieless beacon for aggregate page views, country, referrer, browser, and basic performance. It is not DNS, not a CDN we operate, and not the API host. It does not build a per-user profile we can delete. Preview and other hosts (including gridwatch.grok.me) do not load it. The GRID Android app does not load that beacon. Ordinary request logs for the site and for Android HTTPS calls to gridwatch.racing may be retained by Vercel (and its edge/CDN stack) as described above — not by Cloudflare Web Analytics. We do not sell personal information. Cloudflare’s analytics policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
